Government Relations Division

The Government Relations and Communications Division is the Alabama ABC Board's liaison with and to state, county, and city governments, media, and the general public. The Division coordinates legislative actions in order to effectively communicate the Board's position on legislative issues to members of the legislative and executive branches of government, as well as interested citizens.  The division seeks to increase awareness and understanding of the Alabama ABC Board's goals, operations, and policies.  Also, the Division is responsible for presenting the "Under Age - Under Arrest" public  education and awareness program, producing the 'Good Spirits' internal employee newsletter, directing news media relations, and conducting advocacy and public information efforts.
