The 2025 Alabama Substance Abuse Youth Summit (SAYS) will take place Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Frazer Church, located at 6000 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117. More than 400 state and local government agency representatives, law enforcement officers, healthcare and social workers, educators, court officials, child advocates and professional service providers are expected to attend the fifth annual conference.

Below, you will find a link to the 2025 Alabama SAYS registration page. Also available for your review are photos and video from the 2024 conference. We expect the final agenda to be approved and posted here by April 7.

Our mission is to have decision-makers and service providers in the same room at the same time, listening to the same information, in order to forge partnerships, and develop strategies that will better protect Alabama’s youth. The SAYS conference is free of charge, provides lunch and offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Continuing Legal Education Units (CLEs) to attendees. All you have to do is register.

The Alabama SAYS Planning Committee is excited to present this year’s excellent list of subject matter experts and speakers. While the agenda is still “tentative,” here’s a portion of the proposed line-up: Legislative Panel discussing current and proposed legislation; Abbie Stockard, Miss America 2025; Laura Stack, Founder and CEO of Johnny's Ambassadors Youth THC Prevention; Dr. Sue Rusche, former President & CEO of National Families in Action; Nicole Pinkham, Impact Training & Consulting; Ali Mims, Miss Alabama Teen 2024; and additional guests.
